Creamy flavor with a little heat! Goes well with a veggie tray, tortilla chips, or crackers. (7 out of 10 on a heat scale). Quick tip: Having taco night? Use 1/2 package for your meat, and the other 1/2 to make a salsa/sauce for your tacos!
Taco Seasoning: Use 1-2 tbsp per pound of ground beef or turkey. Pro tip: Use 1/2 package for meat and 1/2 for salsa on taco night!
Salsa: Stir mix with 15 oz can (or 2 cups fresh) undrained petite diced tomatoes. Optional: add chopped fresh or canned peaches to taste for a sweet twist!
Classic Dip (add to taste): Blend mix with 8 oz mayonnaise and 8 oz sour cream. Or try 16 oz sour cream, plain yogurt, or hummus. Chef Jan's favorite: 4 oz (1/2 cup) mayo + 12 oz (1 1/2 cups) sour cream.
Cracker Spread: Combine mix (add to taste) with 8 oz cream cheese and 1/4 cup milk. Enjoy warm (microwave 2 minutes) or chilled.
